Based in Rochester, Pennsylvania, Lincoln Learning Solutions (formerly the National Network of Digital Schools Management Foundation) is a nonprofit organization offering a continuum of personalized learning solutions to students of all ages and from all walks of life. The company was founded in 2005 to develop and deliver online curriculum to the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School and help schools and communities throughout the United States leverage the power of the burgeoning online learning model. Lincoln Learning Solutions provides a range of ancillary managed services that enable schools to focus on their core educational mission and sustains a large and dynamic philanthropic practice.
Governed by a Board of Directors, Lincoln Learning Solutions has always been driven by success, not just the bottom line. The company’s first flagship product, Lincoln Interactive, was a PreK-12 online curriculum that helped to redefine the parameters of public education by delivering to students a highly personalized experience. In just five years, Lincoln Interactive garnered national recognition and went from being used by a handful of local clients to serving the needs of nearly 250 schools, districts, and educational consortiums across 22 states and two continents. Today, with annual revenues approaching $60 million, Lincoln Learning Solutions employs more than 300 full- and part-time staff and maintains a vast network of course developers, content specialists, and educational consultants throughout the world. Through its grants and donations programs, Lincoln Learning Solutions has invested millions of dollars in schools and communities where its footprint has been the largest.
With an eye toward continued innovation and growth, and in response to significant changes in the national education landscape, Lincoln Learning Solutions is nearing completion of a comprehensive redevelopment of its PreK-12 curriculum. The new curriculum is designed to provide the most adaptable blended learning solutions for teachers and students. Additionally, the company is expanding its reach beyond the PreK-12 market by partnering with businesses, nonprofit groups, and governmental agencies to establish online learning communities for certifications in trades and continuing professional development. Current initiatives in this area include pilot projects in healthcare and the industrial trades.

With a 30-year track record of change management, building and sustaining effective teams, and inspiring commitment to organizational vision and mission, Bob Clements took the reins as Lincoln Learning Solutions president in 2014 after having served in a leadership role on its Board of Directors. Clements has an array of operations and finance experience, having served in senior operations positions for ITT W&WW, a multi-billion dollar, publicly traded global corporation. He is active in the community, serving on many boards and coaching youth athletics. Clements received his BA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Robert Morris University, and he completed the Oxford Leadership Program.
Vice President/Sales & Marketing
A writer, education reformer, and social entrepreneur, Stephen Catanzarite served as the managing director of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, where he led the founding of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and the Henry Mancini Arts Academy. At Lincoln Park, he produced and/or created numerous concerts, readings, plays, and musicals, and he conceived a series of innovative dance shows that blended music, choreography, video, and stagecraft. Catanzarite is the founder and former CEO of Baden Academy Charter School, which uses the creative and performing arts to instruct across the core curriculum. He holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University and a MEd from Franciscan University.
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
A certified public accountant from the internationally acclaimed professional services network PricewaterhouseCoopers, James Livingstone brings solid credentials to the Lincoln Learning Solutions business office and senior management team. Livingstone honed his qualifications in myriad roles over a multi-decade career, spanning retail, manufacturing, and government sectors. He gained experience in HR, technology, marketing, and operations, providing him with a rare, big-picture perspective. Beyond having served as a senior tax manager, Livingstone worked as a controller, auditor, CFO, and owner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and earned his BS in accounting from Syracuse University.
Vice President/Chief Technology Officer
An accomplished strategic senior-level IT executive with more than 20 years of experience delivering all phases of enterprise-wide solutions from business case development through implementation, Tricia Keane oversees information technology for Lincoln Learning Solutions. Earning executive experience at Ultimate Medical Academy, Kaplan Higher Education, Southern Wine & Spirits, Burger King Corporation, and PepsiCo, she has an expert knowledge of developing strategy, managing business operations, managing projects, and identifying and implementing process improvements. Keane has a knack for negotiating and facilitating, excelling at coordination among project managers, business partners, vendors, technical teams, and senior executives. She received her BS from Southern Connecticut State University.
After more than a decade of executive experience providing leadership in an array of sales and operations management positions for small and large organizations, George Pacinda played an integral role in the start-up of Lincoln Learning Solutions in 2005. Bringing skills he honed at PTCAlliance, Anchor Hocking Industrial Glass, and Jeannette Glass Company, to name a few, Pacinda helped to develop Lincoln Learning Solutions into a multi-state network of schools dedicated to helping students excel. His operations experience includes everything from business turnarounds to contract negotiations. Pacinda has a MBA in Business Management from Iona College and a BS in business from Duquesne University.
Dr. John Theis
Vice President/Chief Academic Officer
Hailing from Lake Wobegon country, John Theis earned a MS in information media from Saint Cloud State University and a D.Ed. in education policy and administration from the University of Minnesota. In a career spanning nearly three decades, he has amassed a wide range of experiences, bringing to Lincoln Learning Solutions an impressive portfolio of management know-how punctuated by scholarly presentations and publications. From teaching courses with an outdoorsy bent and designing technical and web-based training programs to serving as an assistant professor and overseeing technical and academic personnel, Theis collaborates with IT and education staff to enhance the functionality of learning management, assessment delivery, and content management systems for Lincoln Learning Solutions clients.
Vice President/Human Resources
Having garnered her supervisory, staffing, and personnel relations chops throughout a variety of departments for Beaver County, Mimi Wilson came to Lincoln Learning Solutions in 2006 to head up its human resources department. She has an array of executive and administrative HR experience under her belt, having served as supervisor for probation officers and their staff. She developed the county's HR department, staffing departments and implementing HR procedures for all entities under its jurisdiction. Wilson earned a BS in psychology from Antioch College in San Francisco and a MS in criminal justice administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
